- Woke up once again to beautiful sunshine and took my morning walk through the jungle area.

I am not really a resort person but I must admit that it is truly beautiful here. The wildlife is prevalent.
I was planning to go into Playa del Carmen today, but got very lazy. Spent time reading at the pool, napping, and cooking. I made a lovely soup from a packet of miso soup, zucchini, black beans, pasta and rice.
The evening was lovely....Met some new friends, Greg and Mara at the Havana Moon restaurant bar. They are from Massachusetts and were very happy with the Patriot's victory. I joined them in celebration with a cuba libre!
Then Mara and I went off to the nightly show at Del Lago, while Mark went to watch the Giants and San Francisco play. The show tonight featured music from Metallica and the Nine Inch Nails! Yikes!
